Our Foundation is the
Word of God.
We hold to the essential truths of biblical Christianity — centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and anchored in the authority of Scripture.
Our core beliefs shape everything we do.
These are the doctrines we teach, live by and ask every ministry partner and Bible school to affirm. They are not just theological statements — they are the foundation of our mission.
“If we want revival, we must revive our reverence for the Word of God.”

Our Statement of Faith2>
Each belief below is followed by Scripture references that inform and support that truth.
The Bible
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is the complete revelation of His will for salvation and the final authority for every area of life, faith and conduct.
2 Timothy 3:15–16; 1 Corinthians 14:37; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Proverbs 30:5–6
God
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is the complete revelation of His will for salvation and the final authority for every area of life, faith and conduct.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Revelation 4:11; John 10:30; Genesis 1:26; Acts 5:3–4
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. Born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life, died in our place as the perfect sacrifice, rose bodily from the dead — now reigns at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
Philippians 2:5–11; Hebrews 9:24; 1 Timothy 2:5; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; 1 John 2:1
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ, convicts the world of sin and gives new life to all who believe. He indwells every believer, empowering us to live godly lives and serve with spiritual gifts. We believe all the gifts of the Spirit, including healing and deliverance, are still active in the Church today.
John 14:12, 16–17; Titus 3:5; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4–7; Mark 16:17–18
Humanity & Sin
We believe every person is created in the image of God but has fallen into sin. Because of this, all people are morally lost and in need of salvation, which comes only through faith in Jesus Christ and the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:26; Romans 3:9–20; Acts 20:21; Luke 5:32; Romans 5:12–17
Salvation & Justification
We believe Jesus’ death and resurrection provide the only basis for salvation. Only those who receive Him by personal faith are born again by the Holy Spirit and sealed for the day of redemption.
Romans 4:5, 22–25; John 1:11–13; Ephesians 1:13–15; Acts 26:23
Christian Living
We believe that those who are saved should live lives that honor God. We are called to separate ourselves from false teachings, sinful practices and anything that dishonors Christ, pursuing holiness by the power of the Spirit.
Ephesians 5:1–5; Matthew 5:3–9; Galatians 5:13–23; 1 Corinthians 6:9–11
The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus will return physically and unexpectedly. This blessed hope should shape how we live today and how we serve others in light of eternity.
Acts 1:10–11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; John 14:2–3; Revelation 22:20
Resurrection & Eternal Judgement
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all people. Believers will be raised to eternal life with God. Unbelievers will be raised to face eternal judgment.
John 5:29; Acts 24:15; 1 Corinthians 15:12–21; Revelation 20:12–15
Baptism & the Lord’s Supper
We believe water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances for the Church to observe during this age. They are not means of salvation but are expressions of faith and obedience.
Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38–41; Romans 6:4–6; 1 Corinthians 11:23–29
The Church
We believe there is one true universal Church made up of all genuine believers in Jesus Christ. This universal Church is expressed through many local churches, each governed under the lordship of Christ and responsible for Gospel ministry in its community.
Matthew 16:18; Acts 15:22; Matthew 18:15–20
Government & Citizenship
We believe civil government is ordained by God. We are called to honor and pray for our leaders and obey the law, as long as doing so does not violate God’s Word.
Romans 13:1–7; Luke 20:21–25; 1 Timothy 2:1–2; 1 Peter 2:13–17
We stand on the Word. We live by the Gospel.
These truths are not just theological statements. They are the foundation of who we are, what we teach and how we serve. River of Life Revival Ministries is committed to proclaiming, living and multiplying the Gospel — until Jesus returns.
